Duncan Jones is an English YouTuber. He gained prominence for his eponymous YouTube channel where he primarily publishes gameplays of video games such as Tekkit and Minecraft. His channel has amassed a fanbase of more than 2 million subscribers.

Duncan became a member of the production company, The Yogscast Studios, founded by Simon “Xephos” Lane and Lewis “Honeydew” Brindley, in 2009.
He was friends with Simon before Yogscast was created. During a Christmas Livestream, Simon didn’t feel like doing it, so Duncan joined Lewis. After the stream ended, Lewis suggested Duncan should make a YouTube channel, which he did.
When he joined the production company, he was an artist-in-residence and created things related to a video game Minecraft.
Duncan was the 3rd member of The Yogscast to reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube, after Simon and Lewis. This occurred in March 2013.
Lewis Brindley once stated that Duncan has seen him n*ked, which was never confirmed.
A fellow group member, Paul “Sjin” Sykes was always in a ‘neck and neck’ battle with Duncan in terms of the subscriber base on their YouTube channels.
He once tried to dye his hair blue but it turned green.
One of the people he was excited to meet in person is Cara Theobold. She is an actress, best known for voicing the character named Tracer, the ‘mascot’ of Blizzard’s video game Overwatch.
He is often confused with a fellow Englishman of the same name, David Bowie‘s son, who is a screenwriter, director, and producer.
On his YouTube channel, Duncan has played video games such as ARK: Extinction, The Outer Worlds, Mud Runner, Conan Exiles, Raft, Fortnite, Star Wars Battlefront II, Surgeon Simulator, Factorio, Crossout, Undertale, and Scrap Mechanic.
If he weren’t a member of The Yogscast, Duncan stated he would have been a professional wrestler.
Because he likes ducks, he joked his wrestling name would be Duck Man, and he would come on stage eating Pringles. His finisher move would be ‘The Fly-Away Home’ or ‘Golden Egg Throw’. He also jokingly stated that if every single of his subscribers donated £1, he could make the career a reality.

Duncan and other Yogscast members never considered each other colleagues but true friends. This is mainly because most of them had known each other before they started working together.
The very 1st video game he has played was called Scarab of Ra. He played it on his father’s black-and-white Macintosh. He remembers it vividly for being ‘weird’ because his father had changed the default game sounds with custom sounds he found elsewhere.
If Duncan could pick a historical figure to play video games with, he would pick Adolf Hitler so he could beat him in video games Red Alert and Wolfenstein.
